Support to Jurbarkas Evangelical Lutheran Diaconia Arrives from OGT Wisconsin
Orphan Grain Train Wisconsin received word that the container they sent to Lithuania arrived at its destination. The recipients, Jurbarkas Evangelical Lutheran Diaconia’s “Jurbarko sandora, will provide support to the Jurbarkas Women’s Crisis Center. The Center assists women who are facing difficult life circumstances. Support will also be given to parishioners and children’s day care centers in Skirsnemune, Smalininkai, Vilkyskiai and Garliava. Men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, blankets, sleeping bags and mats were packed into the load. Sixty-two chairs, medical equipment and supplies and ten bicycles were also included in the container. We rejoice when we hear a sent container has been delivered and received. Thank you, donors and volunteers for all that you do in making these shipments happen.
