Wisconsin Delivers Diakonia to Lithuania
Evangelical Lutheran Diakonia in Lithuania received a wonderful load of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, 150 boxes of infant and adult diapers, fifty stackable chairs, ten bicycles, and 40 boxes of either school kits, supplies or teacher’s kits. Diakonia is the Greek word for “service or relief.” This shipment, sent by Orphan Grain Train Wisconsin, will hopefully bring some relief to people in the Vilkyskiai area. Thank you, Wisconsin volunteers for organizing, preparing and packing all these items so that they can be of aid to others.
