Books & Kits from OGT Reach Escalante City
In the last seven months, Orphan Grain Train-Norfolk sent out three shipments of requested items to Ryan Tormentar of Christian Missionary Baptist Church in Escalante City, Philippines. Photos were sent showing a few of the recipients of these shipments. Some of the books that were sent were recently featured on a local news program:
Medina Integrated School received books from America during Balik Eskwela 2025 on June 17.
Station Manager Ben Hur Villasor, along with his staff, handed over the books to the school principal, Vilma Quezon.
This aligns with this school year’s theme: “Sama-Sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa” (Together for a Reading Nation).
The books were donated by Orphan Grain Train through Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Tormentar.
