Immanuel Lutheran Youth Group in Atkinson, Nebraska fund raised to purchase items for hygiene kits. With the money raised, they were able to purchase enough products and put together 24 kits. Before packing the kits, all the students placed their hands on the kits and prayed that the recipients would be blessed and watched over. In addition to the kits, that were donated to Orphan Grain Train Norfolk, the group gave $100 cash to help pay shipping costs.
Thank you, Camry, Reese, Ava, Pavan, Brileigh, Elizabeth, Cale, and Rebecca for starting this project and seeing it through completion. Thank you, Kathy for your leadership in guiding this group.
These kits are already planned for shipment to the Philippines, where a 7.4 earthquake hit off the coast of Mindanao. That was followed by two tropical storms all in October of 2025.
