Wisconsin Sends Relief to Appalachia with Food, Supplies & Care

In early June, Orphan Grain Train-Wisconsin sent a truckload of goods to Christian Appalachian Project in Kentucky. Over 8,000 lbs. of dry food and 11,880 Kids Against Hunger/Food for Kidz meals were included. Medical equipment, toys, hygiene kits and supplies, blankets, sewing supplies, clothing and diapers also filled the truck. Christian Appalachian Project supports people living in Appalachia by ministering to them spiritually and physically. Thank you, volunteers for putting another truck on the road bringing care to the needs of others.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:35-40 NIV
