St. Peter’s Men Recondition Indiana Bikes on ServeColumbus Day
Sunday afternoon a group of men from St Peter’s Lutheran Church in Columbus, Indiana came to Orphan Grain Train Indiana branch as part of ServeColumbus day of service. They worked on donated bikes to ready them for Manna from Heaven’s Christmas gathering and giveaway. Bikes were also set aside for future OGT Indiana international shipments. Bikes are valuable means of transportation in certain areas. The joy knowing that they were helping others who were in need was evident with comments made by the men as the worked on the bikes.
ServeColumbus has been involved with OGT Indiana for five years. It has been a great way to raise awareness of who OGT Indiana is and what they do.
Thank you, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church men for choosing OGT Indiana as your place to serve. There is a great demand for bicycles that are in working order. We appreciate all the people in the many OGT bike shops who recondition the many donated bikes.
