“Snowbirds” Return to Volunteer in AZ
The Orphan Grain Train Phoenix Branch was blessed to have twelve snowbird volunteers at our warehouse today. (first picture) This is the second winter this group of friends came to us from Superstition Springs Resort in Apache Junction, AZ. They joined thirteen of our regular volunteers (second picture, not all 13 regular volunteers are in this picture), for a record number of volunteers at one sorting session. This made for a fast paced and fun morning. With so many capable and willing hands, 137 boxes were filled and inventoried! This too is a new record for the number of boxes filled for one sorting session. We thank God for all our volunteers.
