Schmidt Finally Finds “Christ”mas baby in King Cake

Missionary Expediters, a freight forwarder that Orphan Grain Train frequently works with, sent their wonderful king cake to the Norfolk office for Christmas. The king cake is an oval shaped delicacy decorated in purple (justice), green (faith) and gold (power). These colors resemble a jeweled crown honoring the Wise Men who visited the Christ Child on Epiphany. Hidden within the cake is a tiny plastic “Christ”mas baby. We look forward to this wonderful cake arriving each year. Thank you, Missionary Expediters! After 13 years, Grant Schmidt, OGT vice-president of operations, finally cut the piece that contained the baby!
