Phoenix Represents OGT at Superstition Sunrise Park Quilt Show

Orphan Grain Train Phoenix brought along their loom to the annual Superstition Sunrise Park Quilt show. in Apache Junction, AZ. According to Jean Weber, OGT AZ volunteer, “the loom just draws people to it. ” The original instructions for the OGT mats made from plastic grocery bags, required people to hand crochet the mats. This took an immense amount of time. With the new loom, a mat can be put together in one or two days.
The show brings in hundreds of people and OGT AZ was asked to set up a booth to share about what they do and encourage residents to sign up to volunteer.
