OGT Mid-Atlantic Load to Republic of Georgia is Shared with School Children and Villagers
International Charity Fund Peace in Senaki City, Republic of Georgia sent word that Orphan Grain Train Mid-Atlantic’s shipment arrived safely, and its contents were distributed to several groups in the area.
One such organization “Youth Hub” held humanitarian action in the village of Kheta. Socially vulnerable people and internally displaced people came to the organization’s building to receive humanitarian aid. The event was well attended, and people were coming throughout the day to receive aid. Everyone had the chance to pick the necessities for themselves and their families until nothing was left.
Another organization, “Enguri 1” visited the kindergarten in the village of Khucha. They delivered school kits and other items to the children. It was a Christmas-New Year surprise for the children.
“Engruri 1” also visited the Baramia settlement (which is an IDP settlement) and delivered two wheelchairs to the internally displaced persons. One of them has a leg amputation and the other suffers from the aftermath of a stroke.
Aid was also delivered to seven other villages with socially vulnerable residents and to some of the school children in those villages.
Thank you, OGT Mid-Atlantic volunteers and donors for this load of love you carefully put together. The fortified meals, toys, school kits, wheelchairs, clothing and blankets were well received by so many.
“This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24
