Dedicated Maryland Volunteers Load for Cameroon
Orphan Grain Train Maryland loaded for Cameroon on the 3rd of February. Mercy House of Hope in Douala, Cameroon is the recipient for this container of goods. Over 19,000 lbs. of clothing and shoes for men, women and children, 1,200 pairs of new rubber slide shoes from Samaritan’s Feet International, medical equipment, and linens were sorted, boxed and loaded onto the truck. In addition, 200 Luci lights, 16 bicycles and sewing machines, fabric and supplies were also part of the inventory. “With unrelenting dedication,” OGT Maryland volunteers continue to do what is necessary to make this happen. Over 1,300 boxes were handled and loaded by the Maryland team filling the container. Thank you, OGT Maryland donors and volunteers for your steadfastness.
