Beautiful Pillowcase Dresses Sewn
Our winter visitor/volunteer, Carol Wrede and her Quilter’s on Wheels, located in Apache Junction, AZ, made twenty-four pillowcase dresses for OGT Phoenix Branch. This group of women had a work day on January 9 and each women made at least one dress. Carol used a Thrivent Action Team card and prepared a dress kit for each person, along with the sewing instructions. Phoenix Branch will give these to a new partner, Emanuel Ministries. These dresses will be delivered to an orphanage in San Luis, Mexico. Thank you, Quilters on Wheels! (Carol and Bernie Wrede are residents in Norfolk, NE) Respectfully submitted, Jean Weber Phoenix Branch; Volunteer Coordinator.
