Eyewear from OGT Lincoln is Shared by MOST in Guatemala
In October of 2025, Orphan Grain Train Lincoln donated used eyeglasses to Mission Opportunities Short Term (MOST)out of Ann Arbor, MI. Genie Watters, an OGT Lincoln volunteer, shared photos of a recent MOST team mission trip to Zacapa, Guatemala where the eyewear was fitted and shared with people in need.
MOST Ministries provides opportunities for people to be strategically and personally involved in mission work through either “going” with a mission team or by “sending” or supporting a mission team.
Photos show:
1. MOST team members fitting and testing for proper prescription and fit of eyewear.
2. Guatemalan Lutheran School musicians perform for the MOST team members to welcome them to Zacapa.
3. Residents register to receive services from the MOST team.
4-6. Residents being fitted for eyewear and screening at a health station offered by MOST team members.
