Long Term Aid to Jamaica Continues
The water station in Treasure Beach is still serving Great Bay and the surrounding communities. Using the Orphan Grain Train water filtration system, water is processed from a pond Monday through Wednesday, and residents can pick up water for the week. As water repairs are moving forward, the demand has become less so the water filtration system will be transported to the Santa Cruz area where the demand for clean water continues.

Andrew, Justin, Andre and Grant stand in front of the water station. Justin is a community leader and has been in charge of the water filtration system. Andrew and Andre manage the system and hand out water Monday through Wednesday when residents come for their supply. All three men understand how the system works and have kept it functioning for the past three weeks.
