Atkinson Homeschool Group Volunteers in Norfolk
A group of homeschool students and their parents from the Atkinson area visited the Orphan Grain Train Norfolk warehouse on Monday, November 17. The co-op group, CLLASS (Christ Lead Learning and Support System) ate lunch at the Servant Center and then toured the warehouse. Following the tour, the students were divided into age-related groups and began sorting, unloading and packing in different areas of the warehouse. A lot was accomplished by this hard-working crew. The older students unloaded a truck from Milbank and packed 23 pallets with 35 boxes on each pallet. The younger students delighted in sorting and packing stuffed animals. Thank you, students and parents for traveling to Norfolk and spending your day with us.
