Lincoln Volunteers Serve Locally and Beyond
Jim Carter, Orphan Grain Train Lincoln coordinator, delivered a large supply of sheets, pillows and blankets to Kevin Nygren at the Family Shelter of the People’s City Mission.
On Monday, August 4, Jim Carter and James West loaded an OGT semi driven by Bob Schleppenbach. Next week, Bob will take the load to Ysleta Mission in El Paso, Texas. The food, summer clothing, medical equipment, bikes, housewares and bedding will be very much welcomed by the recipients. Brent Kummer arranged for Lincoln OGT to share the load with Norfolk.
Thank you, OGT Lincoln volunteers for sharing with so many service organizations in your area and beyond.
