New England Volunteers Send Relief for Texas Flood Victims
Orphan Grain Train New England sent out a great load on Thursday for Christian Appalachian Project to help with their response efforts in the midsection of the country. The 53′ trailer arrived ahead of schedule. but thankfully, the hard-working crew of volunteers completed the load in just about 2 hours. Pastor Dick Dill provided close to 40,000 Harvest Pack meals and a local manufacturer supplied 5 pallets of shampoo and bodywash. Lots of medical, clothing, and household items were included in the 26 pallets that filled the trailer. CAP has been helping with the Texas floods and just sent a shipment there on July 15. We are grateful we can support CAP in their Texas relief efforts and grateful to all the people who orchestrated this load. Thank you, New England volunteers for your enthusiasm and energy you put into packing this load and getting it on the road to its destination.
