Abundant Blessings in Phoenix: Epiphany Lutheran Church Partners with OGT to Serve Others

There is an abundance of great things happening at Orphan Grain Train Phoenix.
OGT-Phoenix is blessed to have Epiphany Lutheran Church-Chandler, AZ as a partner! The first picture is of a few of the ladies from The Epiphany Quilters, on Sunday, May 18, after the Dedication of the quilts at the Sunday church service. The quilts have been given OGT-Phoenix.
The second picture is of the senior’s group at Epiphany called OWLS (Older, Wiser, Lutherans in Service): this group came to the warehouse on May 20th, and they boxed the quilts from the quilters, and then they spent a couple of hours sorting and boxing donations. The eleven volunteers filled 60 boxes. The members of Epiphany have provided clothing donations for the past four years, and one of the adult Bible classes has given us monetary gifts, too.
The third picture: shows us enjoying a lunch provided by Pam VanDusen, the Children’s and Youth Leader at Epiphany. She also spearheads the OWLS.
Thank you to Epiphany Lutheran Church for the time spent on sewing beautiful quilts and then sharing them with others. Thank you to the OWLS for all that you do in your service to others.
