Helping Hands in Ukraine: Adopt-an-Orphan Program Brings Hope and Aid to Three Orphanages
Orphan Grain Train’s Adopt-an-Orphan program in partnership with Bible Orphan Ministry is currently supporting three orphanages in Ukraine. Alla Vasylieva of Bible Orphan Ministry recently sent photos to show how this money is used. Thank you to everyone who has joined us in supporting this ministry.
We received the following letter from Alla.
We had the opportunity to visit Korostyshiv orphanage yesterday and had a wonderful time with the kids!
We saw a steam boiler(stove) that is already working and feeding the children. The administration of the institution is extremely grateful and cannot be happier with this new acquisition!!! They say that if it were not for this help, the cooks would have to cook on the street. I will send you a photo to show you. The employees are very grateful as this help came at the right time!!!
Children, staff and the BOM team are sincerely grateful for this incredible help!!! May the Lord richly bless OGT and everyone who supports orphanages in Ukraine!!!
Nova Borova Orphanage:
We bought 5 small sofas so that the children could sit down, play and lie down if they faint. We paid 12000 uah for that.
Deneshi Orphanage:
We bought food and medicine. We paid 11203 uah.
Korostishiv Orphanage:
The orphanage bought food, paint to renovate furniture for classes, cement to repair the path to the bomb shelter and pits, a graphic tablet for classes, and a cooking boiler
for the institution.
Blessings,
Alla
