OGT delivered a second load of 36 bales of corn stalk and hay to Las Vegas, NM. Here is a ‘Thank You’ letter from Pastor Donald Neidigk with Immanuel Lutheran Church:

Dear Friends,”Thank you” cannot express the profound gratitude Immanuel Lutheran Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico has for Orphan Grain Train. Your two shipments of hay, distributed in the name of Jesus, have given hope to the small ranchers and farmers devasted by the Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak fires in San Miguel and Mora Counties. 340,000 acres have burned so far. The mostly Hispanic people living here have grazed their cattle in the forests for centuries. Now their livelihoods are in jeopardy. This hay will give them some time to figure out how to survive. We appreciate your generosity so much. As God blesses, perhaps more hay will become available. We are also blessed by the kind communications we have had with the office staff and the truck drivers.
