Two Organizations Receive Assistance
Kent Wilke (Pastor Wilke’s brother) and his wife Carol delivered 30 generators, electrical cords & heaters to Helene victims. Half of the items went to distribution center in Trade, TN, along the border with NC. This location is Skateboard Center that is now a warehouse/distribution center, owned by world class skateboarder & snowboarder, Ashley Galleher. OGT also paid two months’ rent for Ashley to help with her business being closed & her devotion to helping others. The other half of items went to Lansing, NC and were for homes that are now impossible to drive to and were delivered by pack mules owned by Toberer family. OGT sent $10,000.00 to the Toberer family to help with their expenses with getting food and relief supplies to many families cut off with roads wiped out. Thank you OGT supporters for giving much-needed aid to many families still in need from hurricane Helene!
