Thrivent Match for CA Fire Relief

“THANK YOU” OGT Supporters and Thrivent for the Match that has raised $94,193.00 in Donations Plus $47,096.50 in Match for a
TOTAL of: $141,289.50

OGT has already given $50,000.00 in $1,000.00 checks to families that have lost everything in the California fires. We are in the works of sending another $50,000.00 and see how else we can help serve those that have lost everything.  Please continue to pray for the many still living in uncertainty.

Again, ‘Thank You’ for your support of these families.

OGT received the following Thank You emailed to us from a recipient of a $1,000.00 for fire relief aid:

Dear Orphan Grain Train,
I would like to thank for your generous support to help me navigate through this difficult situation toward ultimate recovery. Pastor Ken Frese, presented me with a check for $1,000.00. Given present conditions, it was like $10,000.00. It is a significant help to me. I did not know Pastor Frese before. We met in downtown Los Angeles. He kindly treated me to lunch at Philippe’s, a legend among Los Angeles’ many eateries. We had a wonderful and laughter filled conversation. It was uplifting for me and a much needed break from the constant filling out of forms and standing in lines that goes hand in hand in these situations.
I thank the Orphan Grain Train and Pastor Frese, so very much for your assistance. If you have any doubts, rest assured that your work is effective, needed and greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
William
