Thrivent Action Team A Fun Success

During lunch on May 10th, Chris Carstens, OGT’s Inventory Manager hosted a dual Thrivent Action Team event to assemble Hygiene Kits and School Kits. It all began with towel & washcloth sets and bookbags that were gathered at the Thrivent Annual Celebration of Membership held at the SAC Museum. To this, two action team events were applied for and the money was used to purchase the remaining supplies. A thank you to Dr. Stanton & Kelsey at Dental Wellness in Norfolk for donating the needed toothbrushes. When all was said and done 30 Hygiene Kits and 54 School Kits were put together for future shipments. Afterward everyone enjoyed a lunch of pizza and brownies. Thank you to everyone for your support in assembling these much-appreciated kits. God’s blessings – Chris
