Schmidt Speaks at Seward Kiwanis Club

Grant Schmidt, Orphan Grain Train Vice-President of Operations spoke to the Seward Kiwanis Club on Monday, June 29th. Schmidt shared about OGT and some of the latest humanitarian aid work that the organization is presently involved in. The Power point presentation showed photos of recent fire damage in western NE, and the restoration resources OGT has been bringing into the area. There is currently a fencing crew in the Hyannis area. He also shared a little about the water purification system that was provided to Jamaica and that is currently still being used in Parottee, Jamaica. Connie Meyer provided a theme-based snack of rice Krispie treats shaped in the form of an OGT truck!
