OGT Norfolk Sends Disaster Relief to the Philippines

Orphan Grain Train Norfolk volunteers loaded for the Philippines today. The Philippine Islands has been hit by three major disasters in the last few months. Two powerful typhoons and a Magnitude 6.5 earthquake in Cebu impacted many people living in the region.
Many of the items in this container were requested by the recipients following the devastation of those natural disasters. Disaster items include sleeping mats, buckets, cots, tarps and tarp kits, plastic totes, solar lights, hygiene kits and supplies and survival kits. In addition, ten cases of peanut butter and 15 bicycles were also included on this load.
Thank you, OGT Norfolk donors and volunteers for your generous hearts and joyful energy.
“If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over.”
Luke 6:38
