Milbank Volunteers Pack 27 Pallets for OGT-Norfolk Shipments

Orphan Grain Train Collection Center in Milbank, South Dakota packed 27 pallets that included Mercy Meals, sleeping mats, quilts, hygiene kits and layette kits. Volunteers loaded the pallets into a truck that came from OGT-Norfolk. These items will be added to Norfolk’s inventory for shipments either domestically or internationally. The Milbank Center has six new volunteers with a total of 25 volunteers strong.
In addition, there are many volunteers working from home preparing plastic bags for the mats, making flannel diapers, receiving blankets, cloth bags and pillowcase dresses.
The 1st Wednesday of every month, volunteers come to pack Mercy Meals. Everyone is welcome to come be a part of this. Orphan Grain Train continues to be a wonderful place to connect, build community and serve others. Thank you, Milbank Collection Center for collecting, preparing and sharing with OGT-Norfolk to help build loads that can be sent.
