Milbank Shares OGT with S.D. State LWML and Receives Grant Money
Orphan Grain Train Milbank had a presence at the South Dakota State LWML convention in Rapid City on June 5 and 6. The delegates voted in favor of a grant for 5,000 dollars to make some improvements at the Milbank collection center building. Milbank will start with a new water heater to replace the one that was leaking. Nineteen quilts were given to OGT Milbank at the convention. OGT Milbank was able to get them to the Pine Ridge reservation right from the convention via an LWML member who is involved with the reservation. Thank you, to the delegates who voted in favor of support to OGT Milbank for building improvements. That is such an encouragement to the volunteers who regularly spend time in the building. Thank you, to whomever brought in the nine quilts to be shared.
We love because He first loved us.
