Mid-Atlantic’s Barbara Veil Displays Her Quilt #6
Do you recognize this quilt?
Yes! We do! This quilt, along with the others hanging on the rail were made by Barbara Veil (pictured) from Orphan Grain Train Mid-Atlantic branch.
Every quilt has a story. Many beautiful and unique quilts are shared with Orphan Grain Train, but not their story. Quilts are sewn into the history of Orphan Grain Train. Quilts were included on the first shipments to Latvia and Russia in 1993, and were given to children in orphanages. 27 OGT branches and collection centers receive donated quilts which are shipped by OGT to people in need both domestically and internationally. Thank you, Barbara for sharing those beautiful quilts!
Orphan Grain Train accepts quilts and blankets in all sizes, year-round.
