Mercy Meals Automated Team Celebrate Five Years and 3,270,456 Meals

“Who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
The original Orphan Grain Train Mercy Meals automated team are celebrating five years of packing meals with a staggering count of 3,270,456 meals produced during that time.
As a result of Covid in 2020, Mercy Meals packing was limited in its ability to produce meals. Bill Begeman had an idea of automating the packing and he sought the help of Bill Meyer and Phil Zastrow. The three gentlemen put their minds to the task and built an automated approach to packing Mercy Meals. The original group of eight began in 2020 and has now grown to a dozen strong. They meet on Mondays and Wednesdays regularly. During this celebration, they all agreed that they have become like family to one another. We thank you Bill, Bill, Phil, Bill, Larry, Don, Mike, Nancy, Pat, Bonnie, Andy, Liz and the late Verona for your years of dedication making these meals that have been shared around the world.
