Despite the Weather, First Annual Golf Tournament a Success
It was a great morning for Orphan Grain Train Lincoln’s first annual golf fundraiser tournament at Woodland Hills golf course on 9/14. Even with early morning thunderstorms, forty-five players or ten teams showed up on the greens.
Awards and lunch were provided by Amigos. Other costs were covered by five event sponsors and 6-hole sponsors.
Jim Carter and Tom Watson shared about OGT and the Lincoln Branch. Jim gave the background of Lincoln branch and update of what they are doing now. He had an updated display and handouts consisting of Fall Newsletters, campaign brochures, and OGT brochures.
