Carol and Mace VanDeStroet and daughters Jamie and Kara took a road trip from Inwood, Iowa to Norfolk, Nebraska. They brought a truck load of very well put together items: 53 feminine kits, over 400 hygiene bags and pencil bags, specially sewn skirts and clothing and back packs. Mace helped Carol cut the fabric for the bags and Carol sewed them. The feminine kits were put together by Sewing for Mission, a group of women from different churches who meet once a month. Betty Hagedorn gathered the clothing and backpacks and the VanDeStroets delivered them to Norfolk. The group of four then toured the Norfolk Servant Center and OGT Headquarters. We thank you for taking the time to make this trip and for your interest in OGT. It was great to have you here!
