High School Youth and Adults Sew Backpacks Side-by-Side

Immanuel Lutheran high school youth in Atkinson, Nebraska learned how to sew with the guidance of experienced seamstresses in their congregation. The goal was two-fold: bring youth and adults together and create much-needed school kits to be shared with Orphan Grain Train recipients.

Helen brought three sewing machines and taught Pavan and Reese.
Judy Frickel donated all the fabric and helped with sewing.
