Republic of Cameroon Sends Letter of Thanks to Maryland

Orphan Grain Train Maryland’s shipment to Republic of Cameroon that was sent in January arrived at its destination and recipients sent photos of the distribution along with a letter of thanks. The shipment contained 5,832 Harvest Pack fortified meals along with 133 solar lights and school supplies and equipment. Children at the school in Cameroon were delighted to receive a bag of school supplies that were included in the load. Rev. Samuel Frouisou wrote, “Last Sunday, my wife Marie-Claire organized the distribution of school stationeries to more than 100 children of the Sunday school at Lutheran Congregation of Nkomo in Yaoundé, where I used to be the pastor.
Last Monday was a day of Go Back to school for kindergarten, primary and secondary schools in Cameroon.
All the beneficiaries as well as the pastor of the Congregation say a Big thank you to the generous donors from the OGT/Maryland for their continued support.”
Thank you, OGT Maryland volunteers for bundling up and loading that container back in January so that children in Yaounde, Republic of Cameroon may begin the school year with proper supplies.
