Ukraine Sends Happy Recipient Photos

In December 2019 Mid-Atlantic Branch sent their first container to Ukraine, filled with clothing, blankets, food, medical equipment, bicycles, Hygiene Kits and School Kits. We were notified of the shipment’s safe arrival February 7th, but the contents were not yet distributed. After weeks of waiting we were thrilled on May 4th when gorgeous photos were sent back from recipient Charitable Foundation Mariam, a mission helping the elderly, the disabled, and families living in extreme poverty. Gratitude and happiness show clearly in all these pictures. Thanks to our bike repair man, Tom Fuesler, and to Delaware’s Newark Bike Project and Garrison’s Cyclery, bicycles brought joy to many people. We were truly blessed to be a blessing. See our 2020 Spring/Summer newsletter for additional pictures.
