Thrivent Action Team Event A Success

During lunch on August 11th, two staff hosted Thrivent Action Team events to assemble three separate kits. Karen Mangels, former International Shipping Director and Chris Carstens, Inventory Manager organized everything for these special projects. When all was said and done 30 Hygiene Kits, 30 Teacher Kits, and 30 School Kits were put together for future shipments. The Republic of Georgia and Romania were possible recipients of the finished kits. Afterward everyone enjoyed a lunch of chicken, pizza, veggies and a special cake provided by Chris for celebrating her seven-year anniversary with Orphan Grain Train. Several of our faithful volunteers from the warehouse joined the staff in supporting this event. Thank you to everyone!
