Third Graders Take Action to Help Support Afghan Refugees

Erin Mayo called in September after she and her son, Josiah watched the news story about OGT helping Afghan refugees coming to Norfolk. Her son, a middle schooler, told his mom that he wanted to do something for them and that he wanted to include his eleven friends in the process. It was decided that supplying new pillows would help the families and Erin and Josiah went to work. The eleven boys each used their own money to purchase enough new pillows for the eleven prospective people fleeing their home country of Afghanistan. Thank you for your servant hearts! Josiah is the 3rd boy in the front row.
