Face Masks

These are uncertain times and COVID-19 has changed the way we live today. It is temporary but it is essential to follow the safety guidelines. Orphan Grain Train wants to do our part to help others adjust and be safe when gathering in small groups or for individual use. Face masks can be worn to help lessen the transmission of Coronavirus. These Face masks are not as effective as the N95 mask but are 50% better than nothing. When being worn, they need to be sterilized daily by boiling in water for 10 minutes and hung up to dry. Precautions should be used with putting on and taking off the masks, information on this is in the first link.
If you would like to sew these much-needed masks, then click on the pattern links below for more information. These masks are made with quality quilting fabric (100% tight knit cotton) and two yards of fabric will make 18 masks. If you do not have the quality quilting fabric, please call
‘I Bee Quiltin’ at 402-371-0045 and ask for Deb Ferris to make an appointment to pick up fabric. Each individual can receive $40.00 worth of fabric. ‘I Bee Quiltin’ is located at 322 W. Norfolk Ave. Norfolk, NE. Hours are Monday through Friday 10-6 Thursday 10-7 and Saturday 10-4.
Face Masks can be dropped off at the Norfolk warehouse (606 W. Phillip Ave Norfolk, NE) at the dock from 10-2 M-F.
Thank you for your support of Orphan Grain Train.
