South Sudan to Receive 40 Foot Container Full of Aid

On Friday, December 6, OGT’s Maryland branch sent yet another forty-foot container of humanitarian aid to Bor, South Sudan, a city of around 500,000 people located on the Nile river. A large portion of the shipment was (1) hospital equipment and supplies, (2) school supplies, and (3) 20 sewing machines along with bolts and boxes of fabric. One very valuable piece of equipment was carefully loaded: an ultra-sound machine worth thousands of dollars donated by Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Rounding out the shipment was sports balls and equipment, bicycles and tools.
