On Monday, Oct. 26 Orphan Grain Train—Michigan loaded its next international shipment. Supplies were sent from the Orphan Grain Train—Michigan Center to Casa de Refugio (House of Refuge) Puerto Caimito, La Chorrera, Panama. 10 tons of humanitarian supplies and relief were loaded by 31 volunteers onto a 40-foot high-cube shipping container. The shipment included 1,400 boxes of humanitarian goods, dozens of wheelchairs and walkers, 4 hospital beds, medical equipment, quilts, and clothing.
