Patience and Persistence Finally Get Container Loaded for Republic of Georgia and En Route

OGT’s Castle Rock location in Colorado tried to load a container for the Republic of Georgia on August 14, but the vessel was delayed with the shipping container, so we rescheduled for August 21st. It seems that they could not get any Denver truckers to work on Saturday so on Thursday we rescheduled for Friday. 9:00 am came and went and still no truck. It seems that they could not find a chassis for the container. So, we sent 19 volunteers home and rescheduled for 1:00 pm. Here are the “die-hards” who loaded 1,323 boxes of clothing, 98 boxes of Mercy Meals and 18 bicycles. A big thank you to those who were available on the 14th, 21st, 20th and finally the afternoon of the 20th. A GREAT EXAMPLE OF DETERMINATION FROM THOSE “GREAT” OGT VOLUNTEERS.
