Nucor Donates to Help Victims of the Flooding

Employees with Nucor in Norfolk, NE saw firsthand the destruction left behind by the ravaging flood waters and homes in desperate need of repairs from water damage. They felt in their hearts an urge to help but were not sure how. They heard the amazing things OGT is doing for flood victims and contacted Grant Schmidt, OGT VP and offered to donate $25,000.00 for OGT to purchase another water tanker along with an additional $100,000.00 to help Nucor families and families in communities needing building material and supplies to repair homes that did not have flood insurance, which number in the hundreds. This morning representatives from Nucor presented a check for $125,000.00 to OGT’s President Pastor Ray Wilke and Grant Schmidt to go toward flood relief efforts. OGT is grateful for the partnership with Nucor and the blessing to be able to give to those in need during this very difficult time.
