New Country to Kick Off the New Fiscal Year

OGT’s new Fiscal Year (FY) starts today and we are kicking it off by shipping to a new country! Guinea is the 68th country OGT will help with humanitarian aid. Our new recipient is Lutheran Mission. The request for aid came two years ago from Tim and Beth Heiney, LCMS Missionaries in Guinea. Their medical clinic was renovated with help from LCMS Kansas District. OGT is helping to furnish the clinic by shipping English and French Bibles, blankets, linens, dental chairs, hygiene kits, layette kits, autoclave, bassinettes, hospital beds, birthing beds, cabinets, chairs, scales, defibrillators, EKG machines, exam tables, gurney, orthopedic supplies, patient lift, PETs (all terrain wheelchairs), prep trays, over the bed tables, wheelchairs, x-ray view boxes, solar ovens, and school supplies. The 40′ shipping container will remain to be used for storage and eventually additional clinic space. We are very excited about this FY with 11 planned shipments already on the schedule. The many lives that will be changed and hearts that will grow with Jesus because of OGT’s generous and dedicated supporters – Thank you!
