Needed Items Shipped to Appalachia

Recently OGT’s New England Branch, located in Terryville, CT, loaded a 26 foot truck with needed items for Appalachia. The volunteers loaded 13,000 Harvest Pack meals, 675 pounds of dry food, hand tools, bedding, clothing, furniture, household items, hygiene supplies, medical equipment, school supplies/backpacks, sewing machine/fabric and toys for two organizations that supply goods for those in need. First stop will be Manna From Heaven in Myra, Kentucky and then Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky. The truck was driven by Rich Klepps, Assistant Warehouse Manager and his son in law, Mike. Thank you to New England’s dedicated volunteers and donors for helping those in need in Kentucky.
