Many Blessings Shipped to Lithuania

In January OGT’s Wisconsin Branch volunteers loaded school supplies, toys, bikes, diapers, blankets, coats, shoes and clothing for Lithuania. Jurbarkas Evangelical Lutheran Diaconia will receive the goods to share with many families impacted by the pandemic with lost jobs; most businesses are closed except grocery stores. Interesting information about Diaconia which is another word for ‘caring for each other’. It has a Greek origin, which often appears in the Bible in its original sense, namely: serving God in caring for one’s fellow creatures. Today the expression is used for Christians, the effort toward helping people whose lives are difficult. Thank you, Wisconsin Branch volunteers and donors for caring for God’s children.
