Joint Venture Between OGT’s Missouri-Illinois and Indiana Branches Will Help Many

Recently 16 volunteers for the Missouri-Illinois branch in St. Louis loaded 595 boxes of bedding, blankets, hand-made quilts, clothing, layettes, hygiene kits and related items for shipment to Latvia. The compilation of donated items, many of which were new, had been carefully received, sorted, boxed, and inventoried under safety health measures during the Pandemic.
In a joint venture with OGT’s Indiana branch to ship a full container to Latvia, the 26-foot-long truck packed with the boxes left St. Louis on May 14 and arrived at the Indiana OGT location in Jonesville. Boxes were removed by Indiana volunteers. The truck delivery was made by Brad Jackson, who heads the Missouri-Illinois division, and board member Keith Scherer. The items will be loaded for Latvia tentatively at the end of May from Indiana Branch.
Truly, the Lord’s work through these dedicated OGT volunteers in two divisions has remained unabated despite some of the most strenuous months of collecting in preparation of the shipment.
