Hard Working Volunteers Loaded Shipment Destined for Ukraine

OGT’s Norfolk warehouse is not just focusing on flood victims; our volunteers loaded a shipment of aid for Melitopol, Ukraine. Charitable Organization “Mariam” requested fortified rice meals and is grateful to be receiving 42,768 Mercy Meals. This is the first time OGT has shipped Mercy Meals to the Ukraine. Also loaded was fire fighters gear, cooking pots, Christmas gift boxes, toys, desks, chairs, file cabinets, school furniture, clothes and shoes. I am always amazed at some of the requests we receive from other countries and fire fighters gear is one of those requests. Could you imagine fighting a fire without quality protective gear? Thank you to donors and volunteers for helping people in the Ukraine. Pictured are fire fighters in Kyrgyzstan with gear donated from OGT’s Wisconsin branch.
