Christmas in July

You may recall reading that once again Kelly Asbury with Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk, NE is spearheading a project to put together 1,500 OGT Christmas Gift Boxes to be shipped worldwide this year! Thank you to those that have given supplies or monetary donations for the boxes already. There is just 2.5 weeks left to fill the Christmas Gift boxes to let 1,500 children know they are precious and that Jesus is the greatest gift of all! Kelly is requesting donations of new underwear & socks, 24 count boxes of crayons, coloring books, page of stickers, plastic or rubber balls, and toothbrushes in individual packages. Used items include t-shirts, stuffed animals, and toys including dolls, Barbie’s, blocks (Legos, Duplos, wooden) and children’s puzzles. Items and monetary donations (marked ‘Grace Lutheran Christmas Box Project) can be sent to Grace Lutheran Church or Orphan Gain Train, Norfolk, NE. Kelly is accepting donations through July 31st. If you have any questions or would like to help pack the boxes, contact Kelly Asbury at 402-371-3521. Thank you for sharing the Christmas story with children that otherwise may not hear about the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior or receive a present.
