Continuing to Help During The COVID-19 Pandemic

The Maryland branch of Orphan Grain Train continues to sew masks, and also has added scrub caps and head bands for nurses, to its list of offerings to help where needed during COVID-19. Over 3,000 masks have been sent to hospitals, essential businesses, and organizations like The Food Project in Baltimore and The Judy Center at Belle Grove Elementary in Brooklyn Park. The Judy Center is a learning hub program for supporting families in need. The Food Projects is a subsidiary of local nonprofit UEmpower of Maryland that brings resources to under served communities. Attached is a picture from The Food Project (first photo) and one (2nd photo) from a child getting their mask through the Judy Center.
