Christmas Box Project is a Fun Time For Fellowship

We had a great time Saturday helping to pack 130 Christmas Gift boxes for Orphan Grain Train. Kelly Asbury, with Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk, NE, has headed up this project to receive donations and help from others to pack more than 1,800 Christmas boxes this month! Kelly has more than 800 packed so I am sure we will be back to help again. 140 of the Christmas boxes were shipped last week to Haiti, some will go to Republic of Georgia this week and in September, an orphanage in Romania and to children on the reservation in South Dakota for this Christmas. How wonderful to share the Christmas story with children that otherwise may not hear about the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior and receive presents. Thank you, Kelly, and all that have contributed to this massive project for the children. If you want to help pack boxes, please contact Kelly for times at 402-371-3521.
