Blankets and Mattresses Delivered to Evacuees in Norfolk

OGT’s Norfolk warehouse volunteers delivered 245 boxes of blankets and quilts to Bel-Air School and Lutheran High Northeast School in Norfolk, NE which were set up as evacuation centers for families affected by a mandatory evacuation to prepare for possible flood waters in the Norfolk area. OGT also delivered 100 mattresses to Ponca Tribe of Nebraska for distribution to other safe shelters in the Norfolk area. OGT will continue to look at ways we can best help those in need. Eastern Nebraska has been devastated by severe flooding, water over roads, bridges washed out and dams compromised. Due to Norfolk’s levee being at maximum capacity for flood water mandatory evacuations were implemented to a large portion of Norfolk. Please continue to pray for those affected by and responding to the devastating flood waters.
